Steering rack for 350i

I need to repair/replace the steering rack on my 1984 350i series 1. Is it it Cortina? If not could someone point me in the right direction please bearing in mind things might be difficult to locate here in Oz.

Hi mate..Yours should be a Cortina mk4-5 as i think they started to change around 1985...You are better off getting your old one refurbished...Cheers..Ziga

new ones pop up on ebay, i'll try dig out the link if I've saved it

Ford Cortina mk4 non-assisted on mine, straight swap, refurbished one for 200 Euro.
Didn't know you still can get new ones, looked at the time (4 years ago) and they weren't available then.
Replaced steering joints at the same time as they cost very little.
