A couple of weeks ago I noticed I only had 1 fan running, so today I thought I would tackle it.

Shorting the otter switch brings on the right hand fan only. Mine is a 1995 model so I believe it only has 1 relay and 1 fuse. I checked them anyways and all looks ok.

I swapped the connectors over (the two plastic ones behind the radiator) and now the left hand fan comes on.

This leads me to believe that it must be something between the fuse board and fan connector that is broken. Is there anything else I have missed?

Its ok, found the problem

With the fans running i wiggled the wiring near the connectors and the other one can on, so going to strip back and replace the wiring.

it's usually a problem with the connecting blocks. They corrode quite badly down under the radiator.
I was able to clean up the spade connectors and get mine going again.

Both mine failed. Bought an otter switch.

Should have cleaned the contacts first - this was the problem.

Now have a spare otter switch, of course. Keep the glass half full!

Wow, that's quick! OP took 3 minutes from first post to diagnosis.
I wish my problem-solving capabilities were as quick as that. smile
