can anybody tell me where to get it repaired at reasonable cost because the hands have stopped moving . I love this watch so much because it used to be my Dads and it has sentimental value
I'm guessing the local nursery might have a few 3yr olds that could give it a go. Not sure how accurate it will run afterwards, but your response to any critisism could be "But I thought of the Children"

What you need are some BMW CSL parts plastered all over it, that should do the trick. Just look up the serial number, I'm sure your local BMW AD would be most obliging. Besides, who actual cares if it functions? It's the name on the dial that matters.Edited by CardShark on Tuesday 3rd June 13:09
careful guys you might be accused of being arrogant or a snob ( both of which by the way I am ....well more arrogant than snob, i quite like some poor people ) I just want to make it clear once again that it wouldn't make any difference to me if it had Casio on the dial its all about the way it looks

People like you make me sick, how do you know whether you like poor people? and why have you been speaking to them? or do you just like the way some of them look too?michael gould said:

Personally I'd take it to a AD to get the movement checked - am fairly certain it should have a 'sweeping' second hand? The other thing that bothers me is the case - it appears to be some gold plated Chinese tat and not a genuine Rolex case?
Never mind, your Dad certainly had good taste......
