Hi Guys,

Had my car in for a 6 year minor service / drive belt change today. All went well with no advisories.

However on driving home I thought my steering felt heavier/more weighted than before.

I checked the tyre pressures on arriving home and they are correct. The car had also only done 2 miles from the mileage I noted before it went in for the service to picking it up after.

Any ideas on what could cause this?

I will have to get back out in the car again to be 100% sure but it definitely felt like it.

Cheers,

Kevin.

You've had the pressures too high for ages and they've lowered them for you?

Pressures were the same as I had been running: 40 psi rear, 34 psi front

More likely to feel different with the suspension having been sat unloaded for a while whilst on the ramp.

Check the tyre pressure when the tyres are cold, not after a run.

You really think that that would make a difference? I'd imagine that everything would have 'settled' after about 3 metres of forward motion.
