Just wondering what you lot have managed to negotiate in the past with OPCs?

I’ve been speaking with one about a 987.2 that they are selling unfortunately it transpires that it has the regular (and rather ugly to my eyes) steering wheel which is a deal breaker for me, the dealer however has offered to retro fit a new sports steering wheel which sounds very amicable.

Is it worth asking for more (cough sports chrono retrofit cough) or would that not be gentlemen like?

If you really negotiate hard, you can haggle an extra 15k on top of the retail price of a 991 GT3 thats second hand and has had a replacement engine.

All depends what you're paying and what the dealer has 'left in' the car. You can always ask, I wouldn't let that be a deal breaker if the rest of the car stacks up for you.

Month end/quarter end are the best times to try your luck.

Is the car pdk? If not, I'd not bother using the chrono pack as your negotiation point. It really doesn't do much if your car is manual. I think you may be able to negotiate more than the wheel but depends on sale price, whether your looking to do finance through them and so on.
