I hate mini SD cards!!! Too small, fiddly, easily lost and poxy adaptors to view on PC's!!!!

Anyhow, is there a full size SD card holder with a lead allowing you to plug into a mini SD slot?

Here's hoping :-)

Why are you taking it out? (Out of interest). Mine has remained in from day one.

I'm using it in a Quadcopter, a lot easier than taking the camera on and off all of the time. It is a 3+ as well, the cards are too bl..dy small!

I'm going to be dumb here, but If you are taking the card out of the GoPro, then you have to access the GoPro itself (i.e., not any waterproof case)... so why don't you get a long USB cable and just plug it into the GoPro, leaving it on the quadcopter? I'm sure there's a good reason!

I have a bit of a passing interest here as I have a small quadcopter but and going to splash out on a big one... (I have two GoPros)

I could do, but it means dragging the quad to the PC every time... Changing in field is also a pain...

I'm guessing you can't take the microSD card out of the camera while it's attached to the Quad?

We have the Phantom 2+Zenmuse Gimbal and the microSD pops out of the camera while still attached. It then pops into the MicroSD>SD Card adapter and straight into the computers SD card reader.

Or, you could use something like the Lexar memory cards which are GoPro recommended and these come with their own MicroSD card USB 3.0 card reader which plugs into your computers USB port.

Hope this helps.

So if you won't bring the copter to the PC then bring the PC to the copter (or, rather, a laptop).

Or you could get over your sausage fingers and deal with it, or else buy a different camera. wink

He's saying that he doesn't want to due to the aforementioned sausage fingers / lack of dexterity / lack of eyesight. biggrin

Boro - does the GoPro's wi-fi allow remote copy yet?

You can transfer video from the Camera to your Smartphone/Tablet via the App over wifi but not in the same quality as you would get if you plugged the memory card into your computer. Photos can be transferred in High or Low quality though.

What about timelapse? I realise this is just a shed load of photos, but when transferring to your computer via a cable, gopro software recognises that it's timelapse and should be made into a video, how does the app deal with this? Are the images high or low quality?

Let us know how you get on ordering stuff from them, there's a couple of things I would be interested in.
