.....well not exactly - I've caved in and have booked the car in to Mowatts at Pound Lane Wickford. He's backed up a bit so won't get to look at the car for a couple of weeks but he comes highly recommended. And he's got a rolling road. be rude not to after he's sorted it really wouldn't it?

I've splashed on a new set of Magnecors as well (Powerspark jobbies in boot as spares) and also bought an "I know it won't do anything but it looks nice" ACT smooth bore induction pipe.

In fact the boot is getting quite full of spares - there's a spare AFM, the leads, and the original dizzy complete with newish ignition amp (I stuck a brand new dizzy on for good measure)

Now considering booking into Taylors instead as time is wasting but unsure about his skills sorting flapper motors...hmm.
