Possibilty of a faster Elise

What would the Elise be like if you ordered an S2 with the sport 190 Kit and then took it to Turbo Technics to get the biggest charger that would take a standard ELise to 230bhp .
Perhaps 300 bhp and 0-60 in less than 4 seconds
Whith that sort of power the Elise would be even more of a rocket although anyone who is now thinking of trying it i would suggest that:
Get the standard wheels in Silver
Sports Exaust
Add 8 pin break calipers and better disks

yep might well do 200mph too

or a may well blow the engine after one run !

don't think the k series vhpd head or no can cope with this type of use.

It would be good for 200mph if you put 18" silver alloys on it though eh hungryjim?

You have to upgrade everything in step.
My 200bhp B18C VTEC Elise has the Lotus motorsport suspension and brakes, it also has an upgraded cooling system.

The best upgrade on the car for me is the Sport160 seats, they have far more padding and make the car very comfortable on long journeys and long track days. Its all part of the overall balance of a car. If its too uncomfortable to drive all day whats the point?

I know the elises breaks are good but ive heard some complaints that they could do with more.
Sport 190 comes with black wheels i prefer silver
18" good idea
It would be interesting to try the engine upgrade and would finally shut up all those car owners whose cars have more power

There have been several TT Conversions to Standard Cars, TT did a 300+BHP Turbo version as a one off demo, they now regularly Supercharge Elises to 230 and some have been taken as far as 260/280 without any adverse effect on the engine (which of course is heavily uprated during the upgrade)

If you get an Elise 190 you can get the TT260 supersport because the 190s engine is a VHPD of the Standard ELise.
The only way to get it higher is to improve induction and Exausts
