Speccing a new M3, I notice the glass sunroof is a no cost option.

Would including this mean the carbon roof gets deleted?

Thanks

On the E92 I know the roof is not carbon if you order a sunshine roof hole...

I don't know how to quote another thread, but in here:

It sounds like a sun roof was never an option on the E92 - I'm not sure why anyone would spec one over the carbon roof anyway!

If I could keep the carbon roof I'd certainly have the sunroof fitted.
Hadn't had one in a car for about 20 years and never thought I'd bother with one again, until I bought an old Forester with a full sunroof - really lifts the interior with a bit of daylight.

But in this case, the carbon will win hands down.

This is the thing, the size of said sun roof. The one I had in the 968 was great, almost targa like, the one in the m3 was just pointless and made a load of unpleasant noise.
