996 GT2 Mk.2 Wheel Paint Colour / Code

I'm having the 996 GT2 Mk.2 wheels refinished back to OEM from the current Atlas Grey. Can anyone confirm that this is Arctic Silver (92U)?

Felgensilber mettallic, L9A1 or just 9A1 sometimes.

But most wheel places offer a very good match regardless of the code theirs is. If it's a decent place you should be fine.

Pretty sure it's not arctic silver, as previously mentioned any respectable wheel refurb company will have a match to the oem silver they use.

Few weeks away yet. Booked in for a service on the 19th June and I'll get the wheels done shortly after.

I have ordered a set of "GT2" centre caps so could use those to colour match the wheels?

AFAIK it literally translates to "wheel silver".

There are apparently different codes for different models but L9A1 is for the 996.

I have had 996 GT3 Mk2 wheel sets painted by high quality body shops and also by wheel refurb specialists and they all come out very similar. Just ask them to match OEM colour and if its a decent outfit doing the work you wont go very wrong...

I have original mk2 wheels if you know there is a colour code on them and where ill tell you what it is
