Had my DB9 Volante for almost a year. However, I am planning to emigrate to Canada next month so will have to let the car go. I am not allowed to import a car under 15 years old into Canada which is a shame, as it a nice reliable car.
I bought a VW Golf as a back up car and that has given me so many problems, yet the AM has been faultless.
Will be a shame to see it go - no more fun trips to the supermarket or to Wales

thanks avinalarf
It is 2009 (MY2010) so 470bhp. Blue with cream interior black hood.
warranty until July and 60k miles
dunno where is the best place to advertise as I don't want test pilots to come and waste my time - or more importantly, their time :-)

Lovely car.
Don't think there's an easy answer to selling the car .
PH and Autotrader is an obvious way ,price competitively and just make a judgement when punter arrives.
I was not up for the hassle so gave my car to a dealer to sell on commision .

Enjoy your new life in Canada, only been once but lovely place and everyone we met was really polite and friendly, hopefully you will be able to get back into AM ownership once you are over there.

Reference selling your DB9, PH classifieds are good and free dependant on how long you have been a member. Whilst not quite a DB9 when I sold my Sagaris last year I made it clear in the ad that test drives would only be available to those who could provide proof of fully comp insurance to cover the cars agreed value or those who had deposited the money in bank.
Probably had less enquiries because of it but those who did view were serious, 3 viewings and it was gone.
I preferred for it to sit in my garage for a bit longer than spend my weekends/ evenings giving test rides to those who had no intention of buying it.

thanks for the tips, guy.....might end up selling via a broker as the path of least hassle...never really thought of that so will delve into it a bit further.
as for AM in Canada, since I will be a newbie there, insurance will be huge and likley to be 'reasonable' in the next 3 or 4 years

I might even buy in USA and get it shipped/ type approved for Canada as there is a large choice of (cheaper) cars in the USA

I agreed the price I wanted from the dealer and left him alone.
My 1991 Virage took a year to sell but Virages are not loved ,a mistake, as it is a rare old beast.

Finally put the car on Autotrader....was looking at Tesla (P85D looks amazing)...though I don't know what my next step will be....
Car never let me down, apart from a flat battery when I was not using it much...the more I used it, the better it was...first year I put about 7k miles...last year, about 800....
