Allergic reaction to some beers (the next morning)?

Firstly, no I don't mean that one that gives you a pounding head and a throat like the bottom of a budgie's cage! I remember a few years ago a friend telling me he avoided certain wines as the chemicals in them (or whatever) made him really bunged up/naslaly the next day.

I've noticed this a few months ago with Stella 4. In the morning it'd be like I had a full on cold, constantly sneezing and feeling bunged up but the last two wekeends (and this morning) I've had this again. One after drinking normal Stella but the previous week I didn't have any.

Has anyone else experienced the same type of issues?

I think beer contains histamine, which may cause a reaction

I can get like this too. Friend told me it was an intolerance to the wheat!

Not sure, but I feel bunged up and as described too. Seems to be gone by late afternoon. I also suffer from pains in my knees when hungover!

Yes, Stella 4 here as well. Had a pint at the bowling alley yesterday and bunged up nose all night. Apparently I snored something crazy as well according to the o/h

Dont get that from normal Stella, or Carlsberg Export which is what I'd normally drink

Many wines and beers contain bisuphates /sulphites as preservatives. Many wines are just a chemistry set in a bottle.
These are the nasty things which cause allergic reactions, including nasal congestion.

I get exactly the same including the snoring with any beer/lager.

I've just learnt to sleep with tissue up my nose

I've been using a sleep app recently that has recording for sleeptalking and snoring. The snoring went up on the night I drank the Stella 4 from a normal 2% noise to 18%, though to be fair I did stuff myself with a pizza and cookie dough dessert as well
