So the other day I fitted some 18" m5 wheels to my e39 beemer. All 4 were balanced before hand.
One had a slight buckle but balanced up fine. At motorway speeds there is a bit of wobble through the steering. All 4 balanced so that's not the problem. Other than the slight buckle (was only very light) could it be the tracking? Between 65 - 85 its wobbling. From 90+ (private toad of course) its fine.

Any ideas?

Err, I think the buckled wheel might have something to do with it!

Buckled wheels can appear to balance fine, but you can't balance at the speed the wheel will get up to on the motorway, so you don't get to the harmonic frequency at which the buckle will cause vibration. Live with it or get a new wheel.
