Is this just paper talk, or are insurance companies and the eu make you have a little snoop box in your car to check when and where your going and at what kind of speed?

If new ones have to fitted with it next year, how long would it take to make the owners of secondhand vehicles fit a little black box too?

Nothing new really. All new "connected" cars have this built in already. It's a matter of time they start building in dashcams. We are fked if that happens.

Many cars have had this for quite some time - I have it in mine, infact BMW have been fitting it for about 10 years now.
