Just a quick post to let everyone know that I did part 1 of my Ride Drive course yesterday. Many thanks to Warren, top bloke with probably the best job in the world.
4 hours on the road and I learnt so much about my driving style and also TVR's. Made me think about that fact that the last time I had any tuition was when I was learning to drive, and considering that was 10 years ago, I think perhaps it's should be almost compulsory for people to do this sort of thing.
I've now got some techniques to practice and I'm looking forward to our next meeting.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone and everyone, no matter what you drive. If however, you do have a TVR, then it is a must!

Two half days is definately recommended. I was shattered after 4 hours. Pure concentration (mind you, don't know what that says about me the rest of the time!)
Also, I found the day very good at just refreshing my general driving awareness.
I've got the bug now. I can see an advanced drivers course and some track tuition in the offing

I agree with you. I had a half day, and was surprised at not only how much I'd learnt, but how tired I was. I'd recommend that if you haven't "done" any advanced training, you start with a half-day. When I did my full day, I'd already prepared myself mentally for it, learned loads (again) was tired (again), but was still there at the end, 300 miles later.
I'm looking forward to my next full day in the spring.
