My V8S battery has been playing up of late. Final straw was being stranded at a local petrol station having driven back from Silverstone. Aston Assist arrived and got her going. The alternator was throwing out 14.6 Volts so my 11 month old battery was at fault. I was due to take it to Bamford Rose for a suspension tweak so while it was there they fitted a nice new Bosch Battery. Despite their obvious work load the car was returned to me as promised on Thursday night at - 12.30 AM!! Mike knew that I wanted the car for Friday and was not prepared to let me down. Both he and Adrian looked knackered! Thanks BR.

Topic title: Good Service.
Possibly though, only to existing customers.
An initial telephone call was never returned.
In my business book, that is bad service.
Went elsewhere and received Good Service.
Don't know why I am apologising Topic title: Good Service.

but - sorry Jon. They are VERY busy hence the ridiculous late night return of the car so whilst I wouldn't want to see potential new business turn away from them I think you can see that they are working to capacity at the moment

Well as a first time customer to BR I would have to say their service was very good, on the phone Mike took me through the various options available for a sound boost piece by piece with costs.Topic title: Good Service.

Agreed a value for the service and the extras along with a date for the works. Vantage went in all work carried out as agreed no charge apart from the cost of parts for the external temperature sensor that I knew had failed.
I had been told by the AM dealership that carried out the alignment on my car that due to a seized adjusting bolt I would need a new wishbone fitting, BR spent the time to unseize the bolt rather than simply hitting me with a bill for a new unit plus the fitting, several hundred pounds worth I believe.
I feel the service I received was very good and if that is what I get as a new customer I look forward to seeing how they improve on it when I go back as an existing customer.
I understand they can be difficult to get hold of at times, when you see the amount of work they have going on it's perhaps understandable. Not an acceptable excuse perhaps but I would rather a company spend their efforts on the work on my car than employing people to answer the phone.
My experience with the dealers to date is that their plate glass showrooms are filled with efficient staff to sell me a car and answer my calls but they don't seem to have the backup when it comes to getting prices and sorting workshop items out.
I'm taking my Morgan to Allon White Sports Cars in Bedford tomorrow to make it awesome in time for Classic Le Mans... BR are driving my DB9 to meet me there from their workshop to save me going to collect it
I call that good service. One non-returned call and you're having a whine? I wish you every success with whichever outfit you've ended up with, who I'm sure are RED HOT on those phone calls; after all who needs anything more

With a little help from a few of the guys on here I made contact with Mike and Adrian and arranged to have a few upgrades done to the car. Mike dropped me at the heritage museum and the work including a service was carried out in a meticulous fashion. I had intended to stick with main dealers for servicing but I have to say I have not seen a service carried out before with such attention to detail. Mike then phoned me the next day to see if I was pleased with the work carried out. Pleased is not the word now the car is simply outstanding and sounds fantastic . Very happy and yes I would agree great service. By the way thanks to JP, Mark and Lewis for steering me in the right direction.

I hear what you're saying Jon, me old mate, but failing to return a phone call could just be a mistake, a lack of receiving the call....numerous things, really.Topic title: Good Service.

Six or seven failures.....red card territory.

Glad you took the plunge Darren. For the slight element of neesayers, I'd just like to add that I have phoned and had txt conversations with Mike and Adrian on a variety of subjects asking for advice on numerous occasions. Not once have they ignored me, and what's even more impressive is that they have not made a penny from any of my queries, they respond because they're top blokes and genuinely care. I could list the times they have gone the extra mile, from fitting items for free, adjusting parts to suit my budget and offering solid, experienced based advice......but I'd be here all night. Yep, although he's moved about 10 minutes further away from the pub.....had to get a DB9 to offset the increased mileage on the DBS. Bless him.....You still hanging around with that liver-infested insurance salesman??
