Central Scottish Ferrari owners -

As well as being heavily into all things Porsche I'm considering a Ferrari as my next choice of summer fun - keen to know a bit more about them - face to face not via a forum - is there any kind of monthly social meet ? (as the porsche guys do) ....can't see anything online relating to this. ...

Unfortunately working away most of the year means I am not party to Ferrari meets so i can't help you there,but having just pulled the trigger on a new car, my F430 will be up for sale soon and you're welcome to have a nose around that. I'm just a stones throw away from your business premises.

The Scotland West area group have a monthly meeting in Glasow city centre which I am sure you could pop along to. I think its the second Tuesday of the month.

Brian there isn't much makes me laugh on a Monday morning but you managed :-))) ... I am purely broadening my horizons for a more enriched motoring experience ! .........and do not plan to jump ship - I've made too many good friends over the years. I've had five 911's now and given the stuuuupid prices on the GT3/GT3 RS cars its making me think Italian. Need to possibly scratch the itch. Catch up soon.

Craig - was initially looking at an older low mileage 550 from the depreciation point of view but Im a little apprehensive about buying an older V12 Ferrari and all the good one seem to have been tucked away. Another safe bet would be a 430 ....keep me posted . Cheers Barry
