Right Chaps, after a fairly lengthy session with MA yesterday the results of my recent labours are now confirmed:

The thing is there's some supercharger drive belt slip when approaching 5000 rpm, I'll fit a slightly shorter belt next week to try and deal with it & then get it back on the same rollers as my NA run late last year:

So 275 hp at flywheel NA, 415 bhp at flywheel SC - thank christ for that !!!

That's brilliant Richard, I know it's been testing you but I bet that's all forgotten now.
Are you pleased with how it drives?

Nice & smooth now and less rich now MA has adjusted the fuelling through the rev range. I thought I'd set the timing as per SC installation instructions, but my dial in light needs binning, it was miles out. Annoyingly coolant temp gauge packed up on the way home, this happened a week or so ago and then just started working again so I'll need to check that when I get out, also charging light showing on faintly, may be belt slippage as well but will also check when up & about.

Excellent result Richard, the torque peaking so close to the power will make it feel very snappy! smile
Loads of scope for refining with mappable ignition too... Now the fuelling is cock-on, must be a candidate for an omex ign module with coil packs yes

Well done Richard! I know you have been tearing your hair out over it. hehe

I had the faint red light as my alternator started to fail, so your diagnosis of belt slippage makes sense to me. No more adjustment left I guess, so new shorter belt and job's a goodun.

What's your compression ratio? (Trying ........ not ......... to ......... be .........interested scratchchin )

CR 9.35:1 90mm pulley fitted giving 6 psi of boost. Nice and lazy power not too much stress & strain to worry about. If I got greedy I think I'd be in the realms of piston problems etc. and simply can't afford anything else at present. I always said I didn't do it for out & out power (honestly) but just to see what I could do myself at home with a few spanners (and a reasonable budget). I'm happy with the results and for me that's plenty of power.
Next step is geo set up but not sure if I'll have time before Le Mans Classic (I've got 11 days abroad between now & then as well), but car feels ok on the road with my best guess, but not ready for a track day yet.

Thanks again to all PHers and the moral support you've given me, I couldn't have done it without you clap

CR 9.35:1 Daz. No changes to engine spec as such but have Bosch Green Giant injectors as part of the SC Power kit. As it was already a good strong 450 I didn't see any real need to change it and with the idea of topping out around 425 bhp (with belt slip sorted out)I reckon I'll be ok.

Daz, as already discussed, de-compression plates for you and you will be away with big numbers.

Thanks Chaps, it's been a bit of a struggle at times but I've learned alot along the way, which I'm more than happy to share should anyone decide to do the same sort of thing. Just been out for a little blast and drive belt definitely slipping when pushed so looking forward to getting that sorted in the next couple of days.

Nor do I. As my fellow track and sprint day enthusiasts know, I have well under 300 bhp of driving talent, so wouldn't know what to do with 415 bhp...... confused
