Can't find a suitable forum, so if Mods want to relocate this, fine.

Anyone built or planning to build a kid's car? I'll be grateful to swop notes.

For garden use only, or possibly closed tarmac space. Not electric, proper internal combustion, probably using sit-on lawn mower engine and transmission, on a half-sized Locost chassis/body.

I'm hoping to pick someone's brains/experience, or to discuss the project with.

I haven't, but how does what you intend to end up with differ from a little 50cc go-kart/buggy? That would probably be the easiest place to start since all the controls and drive-line are already designed.
