Airlock in windscreen washer system.
Discussion
This might be of interest as, at this time of year we need to clear the windsreen often:
Yesterday my washer stopped working as there was no water left - after a refill it still didn't work (motor whirring but no water), suspecting airlock I disconnected both pipes at their junctions, just under the wiper arms, and operated the motor until the block cleared - worked OK after that.
Also not that the water output is only a dribble (due to the feed design) and not a full force one that goes over the roof onto the car behind!

Pull the tube off (they are just press fit) from one of the outlets and *suck* really hard while you have someone else running the motor for you.
Worked for me - although I had to spit rather than swallow, the taste was horrible![]()
