Stem cell donation

Currently sat in accommodation at Birmingham hospital. I have an appointment tomorrow to donate stem cells to my brother who has Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Ive taken injections (3 a day) for the last 4 days to boost my white cell counts, I've felt better but all for a good cause.

Probably a shot in the dark but has anyone else done this before? Pretty unnerving (i hate needles/having blood taken) and never thought I'd ever get to a point where this was necessary.

Not sure where I'm going with this, didnt even realise PH had a health section until now!

You will be pretty sore for a good few weeks afterwards.
