Clio II Automatic Trans problem

I changed the front Brakes on my Clio II and before I did the auto transmission was fine. Now when I put it into D or R it does nothing, when I rev a bit the speedo goes up. if I push the car back and forth in D it can on the odd moment start moving forward.

Could it be something to do with the ABS sensor?
