Anyone with a spare car seat to Le mans
Discussion
Just received notification from Eurostar that my train has been cancelled due to the french Rail strike.
On the off chance does anyone have a spare car seat from Hampshire/Surrey border or nearish to Le Mans on Wednesday (poss Thursday)?
All my stuff departed for le mans on Saturday and I have a lift back so just looking for one way for me and a toothbrush.

We have a spare seat, going Wednesday morning on Eurotunnel , but we live near Sittingbourne if you get a train there we can pick you up and drop you in Le Man, just share cost of tunnel, fuel and tolls, you would need to be at Sittingbourne between 7-7.30

Wow, big thank you for all the offers guys. This forum is awesome. Sorry for delay but just moved house so no internet at home.
A 2 hour phone call to Eurostar this morning and finally managed to get a seat going through Paris on a train that isn't cancelled due to the strike. As a warning Eurostar did try to sting me for changing trains on a non flexible ticket to the tune of an extra £170 as they had no info on the strike and wouldn't allow cancellation/refund. Eventually directed them to the sncf website that detailed the train I had paid for was not running and speaking to the managers manager (erghh how many levels??) they agreed to change my ticket at a very minimal cost.
Big thanks to all who offered a seat, in some ways I wish I had have taken up the offers to thank you in person.
