Where do people put there mobile when cycling ..?

Road bike in a saddle bag along with the inner tubes and leavers. Mountain bike in a small rucksack with a light waterproof and a drink.

I put mine into a neoprene 'phone sock' and just lob it into a jersey pocket. Although I should mention that my phone is not to be regarded as 'smart' in any shape or form.

The neoprene 'socks' came free on the cover of a cycling magazine, a couple of years ago. I use a second one to keep my camera in (phone camera is beyond useless )

On both roadie and Mountain bike - in the saddlebag.

I figure that if (when) I take a tumble, if it is in a pocket / in a bag attached to me, it is likely to cop the full weight of my body upon landing, and smash heinously.

In a saddlebag - no major impact.

I may or may not have tested this theory on a few / some / many occasions

In my back pocket in a hip flask case

My mate got me a hip flask cask for helping out during his wedding, used the hip flask once, but I have used the hip flask case most days for 4 years to hold my phone in my back jersey pocket. I add a zipped sndwch bag if it looks like rain

I have a waterproof phone, so I just lob it in a jersey pocket. Well worth looking for if/when you're due an upgrade.

freezer bag and then a clear bag that bike shop give me to put used parts in. Phone then goes in back jersey pocket. I keep meaning to buy a water proof case for the phone, but I never get round to it.

Work phone goes in a single freezer bag and into the rucksack. I don't care about that one much.

Me too, and my touchscreen works through the bag which is a nice bonus.

I seem to have managed to pick up a lifetime supply of the ones that you put liquids in at the airport which I use for the phone and for filling with snacks.

Usually in a jersey pocket. Some of them have waterproof pockets just for phones/money.

I'd like to get a PROTKT mount/case so that I can use my iPhone as a cycle computer (seems silly to buy a Garmin when I'm already carrying kit that will do the same job), but I'm due to upgrade that in the autumn and it sounds like the iPhone 6 will be a different size so I'll be waiting.

Handlebar mount on each bike means I can swap it from one bike to another, as above a cycle computer without having to buy a cycle computer.

Quadlock, have to admit it has slightly scratched the rear of my phone (iphone 5c) but overall positives outweighs it.
