I am looking for a Diablo, does anybody know anything about this car ?,what's your thoughts on price ?, any info on this a similar cars about to come on the market would be very much appreciated, you can PM me if you prefer,

Not seen it personally in the flesh, but as far as originality of the purest Diablo made goes, it's missing all the essentials.
If purchased at the right price, maybe worth buying and trying to return to standard. Although would be a challenge just trying to get the wheels. I know, I've been trying to find them for my own car for over a year now.

Yeah this is a strange one!
If it were my money I'd want to go for a more original one that's for sure - seems strange that someone would do this to an SE30....
Even though I love all Diablos - this one just doesn't do it for me - and what the hell is going on with that interior!!
PS the good news is if it's been maintained by Mike then he would be able to give you the full low-down on the vehicle.

Why not negotiate the price down by £8k and go for this with the money saved? Such a good looking car!

I personally wouldn't,t want to spend this kind of money on this car , however , in the current climate it might pay off , an SE recently sold in Europe I,m told for 200k . If you can source the original bits and pieces confirm it,s history etc then it might be a shrewd investment with added bonus of owning a Diablo . If I had to buy I probably go for the blue SV at supercars for this kind of money as it,s a well sorted car with no mods so just running costs to worry about .
Actually , looking at the pictures a second time this car don,t look that bad , change the boot , bonnet , exhaust , wheels to standard and at least it will look right . I,m guessing the pictures don,t do the car any justice and the paintwork looks stunning , however if it was originally yellow then that go,s against the car as changing it back would mean a change of interior , then the costs start to out way the initial purchase price . Safer bet , Blue SV at Supercar Showrooms .

Best to view in person to judge colour , the blue is a rich pearl paint I believe and glistens in the sun , in pictures it looks just flat blue , you have see it to appreciate it . It,s a nice colour , not over the top which allows the lines of the Diablo to do the talking 
If it could be purchased for the right money, I would be interested in buying. I'd so end the time and money returning it to standard form and then try and sell on. But would need to be allot less than the advertised price.

Sudesh , just out of interest how much cash do you think it will take to put right , and what,s a good purchase price ? I get the feeling you have maybe given this car more than a fleeting glance . This is the orange car, prior to it's "Halfords" makeover.
I would have to sit down and work it out.
But list so far would be:
Exterior:
Front 4 lower lamps
Wing side repeaters
Engine cover
Rear Grill
Badges
Exhaust tips
Tail light surrounds
Bonnet
Respray back to yellow or leave orange?? I don't mind the color so much.
Interior:
Re trim of some kind, black dash looks ok, but would need to see in the flesh as the orange stitching doesn't look too subtle. I'd probably re trim in Alcantara again, as all UK supplied SE30s came this way [as far as I'm aware]
Needs new centre console, as the old one looks completely modified and all the controls swapped about
Remove and return radio system to something standard
Rear glove boxes need replaced [big silly speakers in there]
Windows: do you return to OEM hatch style, or leave what looks to be, electric windows??
Wheels: pretty much impossible to find, I can have something similar made though.
Then there are the things I can't see.

Serviced by Mike Pullen so I should imagine the things you can,t see are pretty much ok , cosmetic wise yes there are a lot of things to do . I guess it,s a case of like you say adding up the costs . I think redone as in the pic above you,d be looking at a £180k car even by today's prices . I prefer the yellow over purple and put back to original in my opinion would make it a very desirable car . Factor in appreciation and by the time it,s finished I think it,s a worthwhile project , as a quick fix I,d keep the colour change the boot lid and engine cover ditch the side repeaters for originals keep the windows unless I could source some originals , same with the wheels possible put some SV,s on and bobs ya uncle . Respray and interior has to be in excess of 20k unless of course one,s pretty handy with a spray gun . I hope someone takes it on , as it,s a shame really to see such a car in this kind of state , previous owners probably had all good intentions however and I think it,s priced accordingly given work that's needed .

Sudesh - full electric windows were on an option on the 25 USA supplied SE30's, so may be original.According to Mike P you could specify almost anything on any variant in the 90's - hence my VT front bumper on my SV, and Carlo's recently sold VT with SV engine lid and cooling pipes.

Yes that's correct, I I'm aware of the electric windows being an option for the SE. However the door panels I believe] is different for SE with electric windows. Basically the wind down knob isn't there, however on the orange car, the wind down know is visible.
