Since having my LP, I've never been impressed with the hifi in it... its shocking that a Supercar has such a crap setup...
I didn't really want to change it from the factory look so the guys who put a top of the range Alpine system in my 911 have just kept the Audi Nav unit but added Morel Tempo 6.5" Components in the doors and an Alpine SWE1200 stealth Sub up under the passenger foot well relocating the Lambo brain all very neatly on a newly made bracket. Also Dynomatting the doors...
You'd have no idea about the install until you put your favorite tunes on... They have transformed the sound dramatically and it's totally worth every penny!!!

Some idea of cost?

Always had decent hifi at home and in my cars, and really do need to do something in the LP.

Before people come in and say "the car is your hifi" try doing a thousand mile trip with a st stereo!

Compared to the single DIN Becker sat nav unit in my F430 spider ( which I had to add an amp, upgraded speakers and 2 self powered sub units to even hear it at all) the standard Lambo/audi unit is far superior.

TBH it doesn't bother me that much as the V10 is music to my ears and the only sound I really want to listen to.

3rd to 2nd gear downshifts are awwwwwwwsome

I think that's quite reasonable. Quite competent at fitting amps/subs and such myself but on a car like this I'd rather have someone who's done it all before and tried and tested it - I'd only have to accidentally snap one panel pulling the interior apart to have spent more than that wink
