Does any one have any experience with Bridgestone RE002 tyres, they have suitable sizes for the Griff.at a sensible price and are W rated.

Don't quote me but I seem to recall reports they have soft sidewalls and are more for other makes?

I have the Potenza Adrenalin RE 002 on my Griff, very suitable for road use, not doing track days so can't comment. Weight index is indeed on the lower side but I think it matches a light car as the Griff quite well. They are definately much better than my previous Dunlop 9000 Sport which seem to have a too stiff sidewall loosing grip and squeaking in every second fast corner.
Trouble is, those and the a.m. RE002 are the only tyres available in the original size with correct speed rating which is mandatory over here in Germany.

Got the RE002 on my Chimaera 500 and I've been very impressed so far, certainly not had an issue with sidewall softness and had to knock the pressures down from what I was running previously with Toyos.

Driven a lot in the wet and they displace standing water very well and still provide very good traction. Good for confidence.

In the dry they're excellent, although I don't really push that hard. Better than the Toyo T1 things that I had previously!

Agreed. I use them on road and track and find them far superior to the T1-Rs I ran before!
