This will be our 4th Spa 25hr and it has calmed down since the heady days of the one day pass wonders so hopefully it will be civilised. A few ex F1 drivers have been known to take part and I believe the warm up lap includes driving on the old circuit which is now public roads. They did this last year and as I was starting I got the honours, it is quite special..

As for the car, treat it gently......lol

It really is!

I was racing in the Lotus Cup support race last season and the trip into town, the reception from the locals and the party vibe at the bars where the Fun Cup stuff was being scutineered was just superb.

Do you mind if I ask what the team budget is for this?

Are you buying the car or renting the seat?

5 of us? If only last time I checked it was 4! We'd have to redo all the calculations on driving timing and cash it'll take us weeks.
We are renting the car for the race from JPR. Budget is of course more than we expected, especially with motorhome rental, hotels, channel crossings, radio etc etc
Not to mention the fact that we are all flying in from various parts of Asia. Should be a good weekend and will make a change from Sepang, Shanghai and Zhuhai.
