Posted on behalf of Tyler who can view but not reply or post here due to mobile phone working away from home.

He has had his ECU fitted from Oz and the Speedo appears to be 23% out, LSV can only get close to correcting it before they are ‘locked out’ so the inaccuracy remains. He has been told that the CAPA PCM is based on 17” wheels - his Monaro is on 18” wheels.

Will the HP tuning s/w be able to deal with this problem?

Kevin would appreciate your help on this.

Just for interest, I recently obtained a GPS navigation system which shows the speed I am travelling.

Not sure how accurate they are but at 30mph on the speedo it was 30 mph on the GPS.

At 80mph on the speedo I got 77 flickering onto 78 on the GPS.

I thought that was quite good for speedo accuracy.

Even allowing for a little inherrant inaccuracy, 23% is a long way out. Sounds like more than just gearing due to the wheels to me, even if the tyres on the 17s are ultra ultra low and the 18s are off a bus!!
