The pinstripe on my (red) 400se has a couple of bits which are less than perfect.

Any ideas on where I can get replacement? Or, does it need pinstripe anyway? Would it look better without it?

I have seen these on fleebay and some Wedges most definately do no have the stripes. Mine doesn't and I personally think it looks better without, but there are certain Wedges and colours that the look works very well. This one crops up regularly and always comes back with some interesting answers.

What colour is your pinstripe? Adam has gold, maroon and blue in the Wedge parts hoard list?

Do you have any side view photos?

That looks like the classic 3M stuff that I've seen fitted ex-factory.

If you fancy changing over to gold I have a big reel of it but then your badges might look a bit odd - best to match them.

Race Graphic have an ebay shop that does the pinstripe in all colours. I bought the "350i" decals for my wedge from them and they are good quality:

Interesting...... Did you take them off, or were they already off?

No, I believe that they were, like anything else in TVR world way back then, something you could decide on. Seamus who owned the car before had a body off, but if I remember correctly he said it never had any from the original order. Like I say, some Wedges 400 or otherwise really ride the stripes well, but some cars look equally good or better without. I really like them on the older series 1 Wedges, the really early ones.

But what ever you decide, it will be great :@)
