F-Type V8 S or AM V12 Vantage

So I've been on the hunt for a V12 Vantage, but something has caused me to look at the V8 S F-Type now! I know they are both very different cars, the V12V being 6-speed manual, but has anybody driven both and can give me their thoughts?

Based on looks alone, I aspire to the Jag. Aston's are looking very very dated now.

Great car as the V12 may be, it's a very old design and tech. I haven't driven a V12 so don't take this as a definitive answer but my V6S coupe is better in every way than my V8 vantage was, the R will be even better.I guess a couple of test drives is the only way to find out for yourself, I can think of worse things to do

I'm not at the buying stage yet, but I have been pondering this very problem too. I'm sure the F-Type will be the better car, but a V12 and a manual gearbox seem to call to me.
