The last 20% is going to take the same amount of time as the first 80%.

The last push to completion does seem to take an absolute age. I guess this is why so may almost finished projects end up for sale. At least your garage shelf of spares is a bit better stocked than most ours! Keep at it.

This was the ex Trevor Jasper racer (the Yellow shed) and as such,'under development' with a view to a full rebuild prior to being punted off into the pit lane wall/separator by a Sunbeam (if I remember correctly)...a long time ago. The Stirling Moss style steering wheel and bent column was the last of the things to get rebuilt, prior to me collecting the previously repaired/rebuilt parts to be fitted, and my wife gets her dinning room back!!

Bloody hell! That's a depressing thought for when mine gets started on again, I may get it back next year, the parts are going to be in the same location as the body quite soon.

It's been a nightmare. frown

I think you've been very inconsiderate, Adrian ! She's fully right, you should have put them in the lounge, far more practical in getting parts n° and so one, whilst ordering in your arm-chair.............. angelhehe

Surely that means you've only done 50% wink

Oh.... and Jules will never believe that she's going to get her dining room back. She knows you too well and will be expecting the next project to be moving in shortly!

We are decorating the lounge and our bedroom ATM...I get banned from putting even one TVR part in a decorated room for about 1 year or so!! Even Joolz's cannot magic up the money to decorate the dining room so I'm safe for a few years...LOL
Adrian@

Time is relative ...and I just spent all the money on a new hood for the 3000S and silver/clear lamps all round on the Chim!!!

I was wondering what had happened to your car. The last I saw you had a painted body all ready to go. Whats gone wrong?

Bloke doing it was a nightmare. Chassis and parts should get to the body and somebody who isn`t a compulsive liar quite soon.
