shipping to the US

I need to send about 70 hardback books over to the States - I have used airmail for valuable items before but couldn't possibly afford to send this lot like that. I imagine they'd go surface?
Any suggestions?

Probably the post office will be the cheapest, think there are discounts for books over that for letters. Takes about 6-8 weeks. Thats the way my missus did it when she was selling books to the US.

If it was regular maybe some of the DHLs of this world would be interested, but I wouldn't think so for a one off.

DHL are expensive, but Fed-Ex isnt too bad
