Escort Mk II RS2000

I know someone who has one of these stored in a garage. It's been in there without moving for about 15 years but was perfectly sound before it went in. No fluids have been drained - just as it was driven in.

I've been trying to persuade him to sell it to me, so far to no avail. Could someone advise what it might be worth in it's current state? Looking online they seem to be going for about £20k in perfect condition. It's a 1978 in Signal Yellow, done 43k miles and had 3 owners. I would add that I no absolutely nothing about them!

I sold a very nice 1978 Signal yellow/black vinyl UAF **S, about 15 yrs ago, the worst mistake i`ve ever made. Sold it for £1795 !!

Totally depends what it's current state actually is, but regardless I'm sure it won't be cheap.

If you're serious about buying it get someone who knows them to go with you to see it, they'll be able to give you an idea of what you're getting into.
