Should this tube be connected?

Just opened my bonnet for the first time since getting the car back, and found this stray tube! Should it be connected to that round thing at the end of the fuel rail?

Regarding feeling the difference, I don't really know, as I have driven it like Miss Daisy since getting it back...

It doesn't make any difference, TVR never mapped it .... I've never had it connected since I replaced the Airbox with an ACT one.

Is this a real full functional Speed Six engine ? Looks more like a 100% shiny and clean showroom

Isn't it a vacuum pipe to open up the regulator a bit to increase fuel pressure in the fuel rail during hard acceleration? The increased vacuum in the airbox pulls on a diaphragm in the regulator, and more fuel flows. As it has no electronic sensor and is purely mechanical, could it be included in the mapping?

I thought it was more of a safety thing, in that if the diaghram fails in the FPR, the fuel goes into your airbox rather than being sprayed all over your engine?

22,000 miles and better than when TVR built it ... 4.5 Super Sport with uptodate MBE ECU Wideband Lambdas and anti-knock sensors... If I needed it , I'd have launch control and ABS on all 4 wheels ... but I drive like a pussy (cat) so what's the point
