Anyone else see a guy on the A46 this morning with a radar?

Can't remember which bridge he was on, somewhere between Leek Wootton and Warwick I think. Peugeot 508 estate, (unmarked) on the bridge. Plain clothes, just the one guy as far as I could see, holding what I'm 99% sure was an LTI 20/20.

Do the police still use the 20/20? I thought they were generally regarded as being ste? The unmarked car/plain clothes seems a bit odd too. Can anyone shed any light?

Can't have been much later than that. 8:30-8:40. He was just turning round to put it in the boot of the car.

I wondered if he'd just acquired it somehow and wanted to see if it worked!
