Hi Everyone! Is there any way to get build date information on an early DB7? Import information to the US would be helpful as well. I got curious when I noticed a VIN# cutoff in the parts manual for the earlier carpeting of 101620, and my VIN is SCFAA2126VK101327. Wondering where in the linage mine might be. Thanks!

Not sure what you want to know, but the V in the VIN is the model year, 1998 I think, and it's number 1327 of the i6 coupes. A total of 1570 coupes were built, so 1327 is near the end.

Contact David Lea at Cheltern Aston, he can pull one off the AM database - he did it for my US spec VV.

Hello and good day!

My name is Greg from Clemson, South Carolina. I've owned 3 DB7 i6 Astons thus far and found your beautiful black 1997 i6 at the auction site where it's been hit on the drivers side. First let me say I trust you're OK and were not injured in the accident. Secondly I know you must be heartbroken to have someone crash into your beautiful Aston. I worried every single time I ventured out for a drive here with so many crazy drivers on the roads here in South Carolina.

I am hoping to drive up as soon as they will allow me to and take a look at the damage on the car in hopes to see if I can save it somehow. Is there any way I could speak to you for a few moments if you don't mind? I don't use Pistonheads website so often but I've had an accont for many years. I'll hope this message reaches you and I'll check back daily for a while to see if you get this message. Looks like the last message you posted here with the VIN was in 2014 so just taking a long shot here. I truly hope the damage is not so sever that I can maybe save this before someone buys it and parts it out.

Thanks so much and hope you get this!

Regards,
Greg and Mira Kelley
