Who are the favoured guys to go to for a spot on set up? I probably have a seized adjuster (Christchurch tyres informed me of this the last time they did it) so also need to be able to take the time to unseize (NB not break!) the adjuster smile

I used the Wheel Alignment in Southampton. Whilst they're highly rated on here, both times I had mixed experiences. Firstly they failed to undo a nut on the VX220. Once I got the car home I managed to undo it in a few minutes with the help of a blowtorch. Second time was the TVR and he couldn't undo the seized adjuster on the rear wishbone.

He is a very nice and helpful guy and has worked on some nice cars. He will offer free adjustments in the future if you need to, and was willing to stay late so I could get mine done after work, which was highly appreciated.

I think if you can be sure everything is free, then he's very highly rated and will do a good job on the setup.

PS. I would get Southways to free of seized adjuster if you can't. They do it quite often. I know the wheel alignment centre won't do it.

Yep, they free these things off all the time. They have the right tap to retread the adjuster if they need to. They do use the wheel alignment centre for alignment as they don't have their own kit. Southways are worth a visit anyway, interesting place and very welcoming. Although they are always very busy!!
