Engine light on and off

Just bought a car 2007 Fiat Punto, and the engine light keeps turning on and off?

Oxygen sensor on the way out?. £50-£70 for a new one and it only takes minutes to change.

It usually comes on for about 2 minutes at a time, but only some days. Usually once i've been driving about 10 minutes

yeah the car is fine that is the only thing, which is why I found it unusual for the light to be turning on

Slightly left-field suggestion but plug it into a code reader so it can tell you why it keeps switching the engine management light on?
