My old laptop with the port that the diagnostic lead plugs into is getting very old and tired.so if I replace it with a new one
which could be a lot smaller than this old dinosaur can you run the software on a usb cable, is it a normal usb type cable or does it have to be something specific for the diagnostic lead.

It is possible to use a USB to serial converter, seem to remember it does have to be one with the right specification but can't remember what that was now, biggrin

Need to know for the cable I'm making too as my NC10 doesn't have serial connections.

Hi Clive,

I made a new version of the diagnostic software which runs on all modern windows os and has no problems with usb adaptors.
Take a look at the thread in the SpeedSix Forum.

They are the original TVR Power Wheels, which are Jade-R with a different offset and the correct 114.3 centering.
As far as I know you can't get them direct from Team Dynamics and at that time all Jade-Rs had the Logo on one spoke. Nowadays you can get Jade-R without the Logo.
