Looking for a used Submariner 16613 in blue/gold, where is the best place to start. I do not have any experience with UK outlets for used watches. Not fussed about age, just condition.

Any tips/questions to ask about the watch? This is my first Rolex.

Questions:

Any service history
Does it have box and papers
Is it UK sourced, some people prefer UK or EU watches

Might be worth searching on "solid end links" and "drilled lugs" to educate yourself about model variations.

Have fun smile

Theirs are all 'sold'.

Some helpful stuff there omegac, especially lugs and links.

Box and papers essential, methinks. Service I can get done if it needs it.

Shame they are 40mm, was looking for something a little bigger (Seamaster Planet Ocean?) than my Emergency, but love the blue/SS/Gold look....

Dan, I assume you are still in Dubai? You can get a brand new ceramic Blue/Gold for around 35k dibs, if memory serves. Bought myself one a year or so back (and the Mrs duly nicked it). PM me.

To spend 35k I'd have to sell my Breitling Emergency (E76321). Where is the best place to offload that in Dubai?

There is a shop in the DIFC called Momentum - they might be interested.
