Samsung sound bar has a mind of its own, advice?
Discussion
I have a samsung ue55hu7500 tv which is connected to a samsung sound bar via bluetooth. Samsung works fine and is controlled by the TV remote no problem, switching on/off with the TV.
One problem however is that the sound bar seems to have a mind of its own, it randomly switches itself on when the tv is off. Obviously no sound is put out but its annoying all the same.
Has anyone any idea what might be causing this? could it be bluetooth from another device switching it on? For example if a neighbour has a similar setup?

Are you sure about the Bluetooth?
I'd have thought the more usual way of doing this would be a HDMI connection using ARC for the sound and CEC for control.
I have found that CEC isn't always 100% reliable and much prefer it off but I use a programmable remote so the remote controls each device separately while still automating the process.
