Chinese or Russian helicopter
Discussion
I'm currently in China and I saw quite a strange helicopter hovering on the outskirts of Ningbo.
According to the person with me it was a Chinese Navy helicopter, as apparently we were close to a navy base.
It was quite big with a large fuselage and a very short tailboom (probably 1/4 of the helicopter length) it had no tailrotor, but a counterrotating main rotor.
It was fitted with what looked like a large radome under the nose, similar to the Sea King).
Unfortunately google images doesn't seem to work well over here (who'd guessed it?), so I count on PH knowledge to clear me up!
Cheers!
