modern headlights? HiD, LED or what?

any-one using latest generation 7" headlights?

seen projector ones and could put HiDs in? would obviously have them correctly adjusted so non blinding to others

Also seen LED ones

have not seen a meaningful comparison as yet though

Just fitted trucklite phase 7 LED lights.

They are stunning. ............ But they damned heavy.

Regular light is 0.5kg these are 1.4kg.

I have been slowly chopping the heat sink away and I am down to 0.9kg which seems ok.

Another member is trying JD speaker led lights and also reports good performance.

HID lights would strictly speaking be illegal in a 7 as there is no self levelling or washers.

Piaa do a fantastic dipping HID H4 kit,that really is day/night compared to 140/90w H4 bulbs I was running, it is not cheap, but then an off in the dark isn't either!!
