Spec off 997 turbo S
Discussion
Agreed the turbo S is v well specced
From the couple I have sat in I would add for my ideal spec
Two tone seats, black leather with cream inserts looked great
Rear park assist
Bluetooth
USB universal audio thing
Heated seats
Crest on seats
Leather centre console
Std wheels not centre locks
If you can have std steering wheel but with MF buttons I would go for that too

Most 997 Turbo S were well specced up and many have extended leather carbon and sunroof.
The spyder centre locks were actually a £2250 optional extra but personally I prefer the standard two spoke 'blade' turbo alloys and there is little difference in a cars value with either.
As long as the car has an above average spec and is in a 'good' colour I.e black grey or white, you will be okay. Other essentials for good residuals are heated seats, and possibly NOT the multi function steering wheel with compromised gear change in place of the standard sports wheel with flappy paddles.
Most Turbo buyers would not want bucket seats....any car with them would be worth less.....

Are you saying the centre locks were an option or the Spyder centre lock wheels? CLs were standard on the Turbo SThe spyder centre locks were actually a £2250 optional extra but personally I prefer the standard two spoke 'blade' turbo alloys and there is little difference in a cars value with either.

The silver spyder centre locks were a £2250 optional extra on the Turbo S......
No they weren't. Centre locks were standard on the 997 turbo S and the turbo II wheel was a no cost option. Edited by DT398 on Sunday 15th June 16:11
I have a 997 Turbo S spec sheet and options cost...will dig it out and see if you may possibly be correct for once....

Ha Ha. Not sure what you mean by Spyder centre locks. If you are talking about the standard silver coloured centre lock wheels (like the ones on the GTS that were sometimes black?), then they were standard on the Turbo S. They all came with those unless you specifically optioned the 5 stud Turbo II wheels.
