Advice - small, high ground clearance, easy for OAPs

Aged parent question, so the least PH car choice imaginable. No MX5s, etc... They live in Devon, lots of country "roads" with high central grass/mud that causes their current car to ground out on the sump (A class mk2). They love the A-class for visibility, boot space, flexibility, etc and it's been reliable.

So... need something that:

• Is a similar size (length and width) to an A-Class
• Has better front bodywork and sump clearance
• 4 seats and 5 doors
• Ideally has reversing sensors and/or reverse cameras (mild arthritis in parents would make it more comfortable, no real driving issues)
• Less than 10k miles a year so petrol/diesel not an issue
• Budget to 15k-20k

So far I have just the Suzuki SX4...

Jazz? My mum lives in devon with pretty much that brief and loves hers. Not sure on the ground clearance though.

Sadly - I think both are a bit long:

Tiguan is nearly 2 ft longer
Yeti is 15" longer

It's the ground clearance that is the issue. I need to check the B-Class.

Vauxhall Mokka or the Chevrolet Trax. The Trax is a bargain at the moment as they are pulling out soon but given it's exactly the same car as the Vauxhall it's worth a look. Wolverhampton dealer has a couple with Reversing Cameras.

+1 for the Mini Countryman.

They may have Marmite looks but they have good ground clearance, seating position is lovely and its a breeze to get in and out of - I nicked the wife's car when my back went last as I couldn't get in my car.

You can also get them as a 4x4, although I'd advise against it unless you buy diesel or opt for the Cooper S. The standard N/A petrol leaves a lot to be desired too, noisy gutless and poor on fuel.
