Can anyone tell me if the "Sports Exhaust" fitted on a lot of Cerbs is simply decatted and straight through with no back boxes. If not, where can they be bought or has anyone got a set for sale?
Please excuse my ignorance as I'm a newbie to the Cerb world but trying to gain as much knowledge as possible!

"Sports exhaust" is pretty much just a generic term for after market or dealer fit 'non-standard' exhaust.

Most will have silencers, just much smaller than standard. They will be mostly be cat back exhausts too. So the owner can keep or remove the cats seperately.

Take a look at the ACT/Racing Green/tvrshop websites for a couple of examples (there are a bunch more, but its been a while since I last looked smile )

When I bought my Cerb I had 'heard' of the expression "Sports Exhaust" and liked the sound (sic !) of it so I just asked the vendor to supply me with one - No other specification.

Here she is....

Still have the Cats fitted and I find her raspy and fun on acceleration and overrun but not brain-numbingly loud so that it becomes tiresome on a long trip.

The only things I like about the Sports Tails is that they are fairly light, and have slightly better ground clearance that the original back box.

I have a well used pair of tails, that are available for collection only, in return for a small donation to Help for Heroes.
