Quick insurance question, from my mother...

Morning all.

My mum's car was driven into on Saturday at the supermarket. All is well and the guy owned up and it's going through the insurance.

My only concern is I know for a fact her front tyres are on/if not passed the legal limit. (I've been telling her for months of course)

Anyone know if this will be picked up on and could affect the claim?
