As per the title, it's my Dad's birthday and I really have no clue what to get him as he has pretty much everything you could wish to have and it seems a bit of a shame to just by him a Boss polo that he already has about 20 of, so I thought I'd take him out for a nice meal. He regularly eats out, so I'd like to take him somewhere that really blows his socks off and, if possible, have change from £120 for the two of us. Location can be anywhere in Central London/SW London and out as far as Reading or Ascot. We've done the Fat Duck and Waterside but would be interested to hear any suggestions.

I really like Asia De Cuba, the food it amazing and staff are equally as good. The food itself is quite unique, and I am sure there will be flavours which you may not have tried.

With booze, our bill usually works out to around £60pp, so not too extortionate!

Where ever you do go, let us know!

Took a while to find the menu/website but it looks like an early contender! Thanks for the tip.

Have a look at Bob Bob Ricard, although it may be top end of the budget.

I've walked past that place quite a few times, not a bad shout.

I haven't decided yet, although I am strongly leaning towards Asia de Cuba at the moment.

How about Bluebells in Sunningdale, or Stovells in Chobham.
