New to the Forum and the UK, new car question! 6-7K

Hi,

I have moved over to the UK for work and am currently in London, I am looking to buy a car.
I have around 7k to play with and would like it to be at least a 08 with lowish miles so it would be reliable.

So far I was thinking of a Punto Abarth, but I'm 6'7 so worried about leg room, has anyone any ideas what would be a good economical, fun car for me?

Im from Ireland and have had a C180 merc and a fiat coupe plus a few jeeps. I am 2 tall for a mx5 unfortunately!
